Symptoms
Brain injury can result in many different symptoms. If you have experienced any of the symptoms below after being abused — or if a symptom has gotten worse after an incident — you may have received a brain injury.
These symptoms can appear immediately after an injury or days later — and some may not be immediately obvious. You know your body best. If something feels different, it’s worth paying attention to.
If your symptoms are severe or worsening, please seek medical attention right away. Seeing a doctor is always the right first step.
